Articles.
Each journal includes an uplifting and inspiring article relevant to preaching
and the black church. These articles deal with topics such as ministerial
issues, preaching, sermon design, and other areas of interest.
Interviews.
Timeless interviews with some of the nation's most respected ministers are
a favorite feature of TAAP. These in-depth interviews offer glimpses
into the style, motivation, and philosophies of ministers today.
Interviews have included conversations with Claudette A. Copeland, Cain Hope
Felder, Robert Michael Franklin, H. Beecher Hicks, William Augustus Jones,

Practical How-to Advice.
Each journal includes informative advice on a subject area important to the
black church. One recent issue included "Church and Religious Institutional
Mortgages," which in easy-to-understand language explained the details and
processes churches should know when considering obtaining a church mortgage
loan.
Clergy Vignettes.
We are now publishing brief blurbs announcing religious news of note: church
anniversaries for churches that are 100 years or older, announcements
concerning doctoral degrees (D. Min, Th.D., and Ph.D.) received from
institutions accredited by the Association of Theological Schools,
announcements concerning faculty and administrative appointments by seminaries,
announcements of female clergy who are celebrating 25 or more years in ministry
and male clergy who are celebrating 50 or more years in ministry, announcements
concerning the completion of church-owned facilities that also serve the wider
community, and announcements concerning special academic achievement by persons

Book Reviews.
These reviews, which sometimes feature book excerpts, provide helpful
information on the best reading on ministerial life and issues, effective
pastoring, and church administration today.
